These terms govern your use of the Solar Insider website and communications. Solar Insider is the public-facing nickname of Traveller Consulting Inc. d/b/a Solar Deal Insider.

Advisory role

Solar Deal Insider provides educational information, proposal reviews, and solar buying guidance. We are not an electric utility, government agency, attorney, tax advisor, lender, or the installer of record. Final pricing, financing, engineering, production, installation, warranties, incentives, and interconnection are governed by the agreements and providers you select.

No guarantee

We aim to provide accurate and useful guidance, but solar economics depend on property conditions, utility rules, energy use, financing, incentives, and provider performance. We do not guarantee savings, production, tax-credit eligibility, approval, installation timing, or any particular outcome.

SMS program and communications consent

When you submit your phone number through our consent form, you authorize Traveller Consulting Inc. d/b/a Solar Deal Insider to text or call that number regarding your solar inquiry, qualification questions, appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and related offers, possibly using automated technology. Message frequency varies, generally two to six messages per inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Eligibility and age restriction

The website and SMS program are intended for adults age 18 or older. By using the service or opting in to messages, you represent that you are at least 18 and authorized to provide the submitted contact and property information.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing final contracts, confirming representations with the applicable provider, and consulting qualified legal, tax, or financial professionals when appropriate. Do not submit information you do not have permission to share.
